A message from Selwyn Burke - the Managing Director and Founder of Time Business Systems. "Setting up the company in 1997, having worked for some of the major players in the industry, was an exciting 'Time'! There have been many changes in the products over the years and it's the business benefits I have seen for my clients that still excite me now. I am very fortunate to have a great team working for me who have the same work ethic as me. It's all about listening to the customer and delivering on promises. I would say that at least 70% of my business has been secured either by recommendation or by an existing client confirming the words of my sales team to a potential client. Based on our strong people values, I'm looking forward to continued success and growth".

Vicky Ridings is our Administration Manager and has been with us for 5 years. As a busy mum with 2 children, Vicky is used to juggling many tasks at once and her role at Time utilises that strength, too. Vicky enjoys working for a company where the personal touch is still high on the agenda in this era of technology. "Everyone who works at Time genuinely cares about their customers. We are a close knit team and pull together to make things happen. We listen to each other as well as to our customers and it just works! My role is primarily focussed around finance - invoicing, accounts, banking etc but I am often on the phone to clients and it's important to me personally that they are happy with the whole process, from initial contact, through to ongoing invoices and servicing"

Ian Clothier is our Sales Manager. We are fortunate enough to have had Ian on board since May 2003. Prior to that, Ian worked for another copier company for 4 years. So Ian knows a fair bit about the machines and has the experience to provide a consultative sale to the client - advising which machine will really fulfil their needs. Ian is proud to work for Time and feels that the company is unique because it's a family run business that prides itself on customer service. "No 'Press 1 for this, 2 for that' - you get to speak to a real (and really nice) person at Time. Our After Sales Support is second to none, which coupled with the excellent quality Ricoh product we supply, makes my job of sales a lot easier. I know when I speak to a customer that I really am giving them the best value for money around". In his spare time, Ian likes to go to the gym and, so he tells us, build flat pack furniture. Although we would in no way like to comment or endorse the latter!

Steve Evans is our Service Manager. He manages our team of Service Engineers and keeps everything running smoothly. 11 years of experience at Time and an engineer for a similar local company prior to that, there's not much, if anything, about the guts of a printer, scanner, copier or multifunction machine that Steve doesn't know. Steve recently recruited a trainee for his team and what he was looking for sums up what's important "They had to have a good attitude towards work, do everything to the best of their ability and even when they're given a task they don't want to do, they do it with a smile and understand it's all part of the job. It's what we've all had to do and it's vital to providing the excellent service our clients expect". Outside of work, Steve is keen on sport, especially football (now you know how he has stuck with Selwyn so long!) and socialising...that's when he's not looking after Baby Evans, of course!
